Graduated

Viviane Poirier began her master’s degree (M.A.) in career counseling, research and intervention profile, at the Université du Québec à Montréal in the fall of 2020. Having already completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology, honours profile, at this same institution, her research interests focus on career development in relation to different psychological factors. More specifically, her research interests focus on the mechanisms of career decision-making and academic perseverance in relation to mindfulness, self-compassion, self-efficacy and self-determination. Currently, she is working on her master’s thesis, under the supervision of Geneviève Taylor, on the relationship between self-compassion and career indecision. Following her master’s degree, she aspires to counsel a young clientele in their career decision-making and their insertion into the job market.

Gabrielle Beaupré completed her master’s degree (M.A.) in career counseling at the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2019. Being in the research and intervention profile, under the direction of Geneviève Taylor, her master’s thesis focuses on the effect of an attentive presence intervention on career goal motivation and well-being of university students. Her research was funded by the Fonds de Recherche du Québec – Société et Culture (FRQSC). Gabrielle is currently pursuing her doctoral studies in education, still within the 3M laboratory.
